If so, put me down for $10. So a mere $4290 to go.
We may not have it all together, but together we have it all.
The older I get, the better I was.
Celestron Nexstar+ 127 SLT, several budget plossl eyepieces, Celestron 8-24mm zoom EP and a 12.5mm illuminated double reticle EP, Svbony SV205 camera w/.5 focal reducer, Celestron SkyMaster 20x80 binos on a 40 yr old QuickSet PanHead tripod, Stellarium, Sharpcap and ManyCam on my laptop, SkyView and Nightshift on my phone and a dandy little $9 red-light flashlight.

Of course he had to set up shop to make these right after I took delivery of my Vixen.
If they did come with a guarantee of clear skies I would be trying to get the 150mm!

Great Idea Actually...she's never seen any of my receipts and.....I've pretty well lied about the prices of most of my equipment Buuuuuut, I'm sure she's done the same regarding her ever increasing collection of shoes and purses over the past 34 years we've been married

Re: What could it be?
The Takahashi TSA-120mm is slightly more than the Agema 120mm, most of the “premium” refractors of this size are at this price point though the Agema is the longest focal length of the offerings.

Re: What could it be?
Just paint the tube and rings of the Celestron to match the Agema, that way she will not notice the change over when the new one arrives!AbbN wrote: ↑Thu May 30, 2019 4:08 am Nice! Hmmm, it would be a good replacement for my Celestron XLT 120 since the it's focal ratio F/8.7 is close to my XLT's F/8.3 ratio. However to pull it off I'd have to take out one zero in it's $4,300 price and tell her it cost $430 - hey, what's one zero anyway, nothing right

Re: What could it be?
You have great taste in pain jobs Actually I'd rather have that scope rather than a paint job imitating it
