There will be shakes from focusing and wind, the pedestal does help as you hardly have to extend the legs but under-mounted is still under-mounted.
Having used C6-R on various mounts for the last 15 years or so I take this review with a small bit of skepticism.
Reasonably stable, mostly. Solid, no.
The pedestal he mentions works even better on the AS-GT (

The only time I've had any trouble near zenith was after consuming one of those irresistible and delicious peach milkshakes from Chick-fil-A. Those are hard to bend over to get to the eyepiece.
