May 5th 2024 / Hydrogen beta Sun

Good Day All !

Another fine Sol session this 9am - 10am with some cooler weather pouring in the Solar Kitchens Observational Portal, so aclimatizing made EZ 😆

Had another good one with 4/5 seeing and 3/5 transparency or just short of my May 3rd session.

And a first light for this X-6 H-beta filter version squeezing down the bandpass a bit more in this one now and with my recently learned and now fully adopted processing mods added in for good measure...

The current sunspot groupings are really getting dynamic, visual observations were nothing short of spectacular today and the large filament in Ha was awesome.

Best of Luck out there and Have an

Awesome Week Everyone !

Static / 70x420mm / Solar Wedge / IMX385-Colour / Homebrewed Hydrogen beta

Celebrating My 200th Visual Solar Observing Session today too, how time flies when your having fun
