I had a clear day today; took some frames of ol' Sol, and the clouds held off long enough for me to take some Moon pics.
Aldebaran was two degrees away from the Moon tonight as well, so I took out my 60mm
This is a stacked combination of two shots; one for the Moon, and another with the Moon very blown out, but the star shows up
The last time I caught these two together was March 22, 2018, again with my Towatron. It's happened many times since, but skies/timing/life always seem to get in the way...
Nice to have a re-visit.
In the west I could see the dark clouds rolling in. Still, I had enough time to get my C80-HD and mount and set that all up.

I'm happy to say I used three telescopes today. My WO 61mm for the Sun, and the above mentioned two for the Moon. Now all I need to do is maybe finally if ever get in some visual??!!
