I need either a dovetail piggyback adapter with a counterweight to attach to it. or 1/4 screw adapter with a counterweight to attach to it i can adjust on it to balance my camera on my mount
I can't seem to find anything that would work!!

I have a dovetail L bracket to 1/4 adapter to attach my camera directly to my alt-az goto star tracker without a telescope or other accessories.

Not sure exactly what you are asking. But I bought a six-pack of floor ceramic tiles. They weigh 1 pound each. I glued heavy duty magnets to them. I then simply put them on on the scope as a counterweight. I don't usually use them, but when the scope is within about 10 degrees horizontal the clutches on my mini-tower will slip - and then I attach one or two of the tiles to the scope - the tube is steel so the magnets hold the tiles reliably to the mount. It's an easy and very cheap fix. You could as easily drill a hole in the tile and (zip) tie it in place as well. Just some ideas for you.

I don't really have anything suitable. no zip ties either.

Theres nowhere to glue strap or tape anything to the L bracket or camera to.
I need some kind of solid sturdy counter weight adapter/bracket/piggyback thing

The best solution would be if I the L bracket had screw threads built in that I could order a counterweight. and screw it in and just adjust it and be good to go.
but it doesnt have any screw threads. or i'd have to make my own by drilling a hole in it.

A picture of your actual setup would most likely help to give better ideas

Does the knob that screws into the camera come right out? If it does there might be an opportunity to use it to fix a 12" ruler shape plate of some sort to the underside of the L bracket and fix a counter weight to the other end. If you have no zip ties you're going to need to drill and bolt it on at the pivot position.

it doesn't come out. but the screw threads stick out just long enough i might be able to get something between it and the camera body. and put a weight on that way sorta like you describe.
but i dont really have anything like that around.

I found the perfect solution. So simple I didn't even see it until now!
I just attached two pairs of small locking pliers. and it PERFECTLY balances it out! it stays anywhere i put it when i loosen the clutch nob and let it free-wheel. no pressure or weight on the gears at all!

A medium size one. and a smaller/skinnier one. both attached to it and I adjusted the height of the adapter on the dovetail mount to compensate for their lower height. and it works perfectly!
I just clamp them on to the platform the camera sits on. (to the left of the camera)
