I've got the 10mm ortho, but none of the rest of the set. The 10mm has been great for digging out very faint and small galaxies, Pluto, and moons of Uranus and Neptune.
Yeah... I'm the one who buys them like popcorn. Then there's the KK Fujiyamas but that's another day and another thread.bladekeeper wrote: ↑Sun Feb 09, 2020 5:32 amI've got the 10mm ortho, but none of the rest of the set. Initially, I got the set for the EPs and Barlow, but the turret is really fun tool. It basically turns a set of your favorite minimal glass EPs into a zoom. In some of the scopes you may run out of in focus travel with Q-turret. The workaround is to get a prism diagonal, which have shorter light path compared to a mirror.
And I just love the 2.25x and 1.3x Barlow factors.
I agree. I was very impressed by the greater contrast internal to the Merope reflection nebula when I directly compared them with TV Panoptics, Vixen NPLs, and TV Plossls.
Yep, that would work to. I use it with Vixen SLVs and various Plossls.AntennaGuy wrote: ↑Sun Apr 05, 2020 2:27 am Might one consider buying the turret only and then using different eyepieces?
