MESSIER QUEST
Posted: Sun Dec 22, 2019 3:48 pm
by JohnP_1
This is my quest for the 110
Messier objects. These were taken during 2014 - 15 over a period of about 15 months. I got serious about trying in the Spring of 2015 and so the record go.
I did not realize I needed to post these in this forum and began this in the Deep Space forum inadvertently. Please see the first 10
Messier's documented in,
viewtopic.php?f=66&t=5630&p=47434#p47434.
I will continue the Quest with number 11 starting in the next post.

This photo was beginning to experience some extinction in the lower left corner presumably as the cluster sunk below the roof line. I included a plate-solve for this one too for that reason. With a Declination of -32 degrees, there is significant color extinction as well, which makes the color balance interesting. Taken 8/7/15, integration of 5 x 45s
