I managed to get out for a bit this morning and grab a couple of solar images with both scopes.
First up, as usual, the White-Light with the Explore Scientific ED152 CF APO and Baader ASTF solar film & Baader Solar Continuum filter, captured with the ZWO2600mm
I'm really surprised that active region between 3661 & 3664 doesn't have a # designation just yet.
Next up, the Ha image with the Lunt 80mm Double-Stack and the ZWO1600mm.
Another nice session, so well done! I know what you mean about the AR's not having a number. Sometimes I scratch my head when I take a look at the SOHO site or others, and there's a number for a spot that has long gone, yet the prominent ones are still there with no numbering, even after a couple/few days. Makes for a guessing game, if nothing else
Hope your streak continues!
