I've been a bit absent from her for a while largely because my last imaging session was on 19 Jan. Weather has been consistently awful.

I got the old 8" LX200 set up for Galaxy season and of course 3 months later on the first clear night the moon is 90% illumination. And some passing high cloud not helping.

So over 2 nights I was able to get 7 hrs of data from the ASI 2600mc with the L-ultinate filter. All in all, taking the conditions into account I'm failry happy with it. I was able to get the outer shell to show but at the risk of over stretching.

But its good to get new data to process.

Sounds like the weather in North West Ireland is the same as the weather in South East England! Two nights in a row is good!

You caught the Owl really well, good colour and detail.

I've been thinking of going for it whilst it's up near the zenith.

Two nights in a row is not far short of a miracle this year. And I might even have another one tomorrow. Allegedly!
Go for it! I chose it cause it was pretty much the only thing available in current moonlight but I'm pleased at how its come out.
If its clear tomorrow i'm going to set up on the headphones Nebula (Jones-Emberson 1) but I'll likely only get 4 hours on that so it will need another night too.
