Who Owns the Moon?
After the success of NASA's Apollo missions in 1969, and successfully landing humans on the Moon's surface, there was a hiatus in Moon exploration. But suddenly there is a new explosion of interest in going back to the Moon. Just this year no fewer than 5 missions are planned. Why all the haste? A.C Grayling is a philosopher and founder and principal of the New College of Humanities at Northeastern University in London.
He has written many books, with his new work, Who Owns the Moon? In Defence of Humanity's Common Interests in Space, he joined Philip Clark on Nightlife to discuss the question in detail and to look ahead at further exploration of our solar system.
