New Image: Jones-Emberson 1

Hello!

Jones-Emberson 1 (PK 164+31.1), also known as the Headphone Nebula, is a 14th magnitude planetary nebula in the constellation Lynx at a distance of 1600 light years. It is a larger planetary with low surface brightness. The 16.8-magnitude central star is a very blue white dwarf (from Wikipedia).
It's the first time I'm photographing this nebula, although I've wanted to have it in my "portfolio" for a long time. Being in the northern part of the sky, I thought it was outside the area that I can take pictures from the balcony. Nevertheless , I could do it, but at the limit, close to the edge of the roof. The maximum time that it is available - 4 hours/night. Besides that, the weather was unfavorable. These nights I had fog, haze and Saharan dust clouds. Yesterday I captured the RGB frames, although the seeing was horrible and the wind was shaking the scope (I planned to fix the stars with a luminance from OIII).
The image is a HOO combination with RGB stars. Total exposure: 18 hours and 20 minutes. Setup: Omegon 203/800, ASI1600MM Pro. I'll post the crop image, for better resolution.
Clear skies!

That is one excellent image of a really intriguing object Marius. Your level of detail is amazing and I particularly like that you brought out the much dimmer outer portions of its shell. Well done, and certainly a solid candidate for a VROD!
