NGC 5364

NGC 5364 (NGC 5317, UGC 8853, PGC 49555 and others) is a grand design spiral galaxy located approximately 51 million light-years away (https://www.aanda.org/articles/aa/pdf/2 ... 553-18.pdf) in Virgo.

NGC 5360 (UGC 8838, PGC 49513 and others) is the irregular galaxy to the right of NGC 5364. This one is located approximately 72 million light-years away.

Asteroid 2127 Tanya was captured over several nights as well.

Luminance – 28x600s – 280 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 14:19:15x300s – 70:95:75 minutes each – binned 2x2

510 minutes total exposure – 8 hours 50 minutes

Imaged over eight nights in February, 2022 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
