I just received more sad news.

Longtime member Tillibobs (Keith) passed away Jan 31st / Feb 1st and was laid to rest on 22nd Feb.

Keith was another of our friends who followed us from the old Astronomy forum. He was a 'solar head' and extremely helpful to those just starting out.

He will be missed.

So sorry to hear. I know he mentioned he was battling the dreaded "C" word but that it seemed to have leveled off. May he rest in peace amongst the stars, and in this case in orbit around the sun which he spent so much time with. Godspeed.

I am very sad to read this.
Keith helped me out with my Solar equipment and observing back on the Astronomy Forum, and really got me going.
I will miss him.

Just as I had one of my best days with ol' Sol... Keith, you were my inspiration for all this and so positive and helpful. I wouldn't be so happy doing this today if it wasn't for you. Godspeed my friend, you will be seriously missed.

So sad to see this ,I haven't been on here much lately because I am a warm weather solar guy and no longer set up in the winter .

I met Keith on the old forum more than 20 years ago and had the pleasure of meeting him in person in London 9 years ago . We had always stayed in touch and he was keeping me up dated on his health .I received his last message just before Christmas , he said he had had a fall and was returning to hospital .
Although I knew this was coming I am very saddened by the news . Keith was an amazing spirit with a great sense of humor . He loved imaging Ha solar and I know he wanted to image again after his treatments . I am so sad he was not able to leave us with just a few , he lost most of his images when the old forum went down .

I miss you already , rest in peace my dear friend
