Moon and Aldebaran from March 22, 2018

Hey all 
I found this the other day from going through my pictures backup. Six years ago today I took this; it seems like an eternity.
Aldebaran is half a degree below the waxing 32% Moon. I took this with my Canon T3 (that died in 2020) and my homemade Towatron; a mix of the objective from a Tasco 55VTE and a cut down Celestron Astromaster 60mm tube; it dials in atf/ 6.5.
A single shot; back before the stacking days
Seems my skies were a lot clearer back then. I'm currently watching the now 10cm's (4 inches) of snow falling
