NGC 5170 (UGCA 360, PGC 47394 and 47396, ESO 576-65 and others) is an edge-on spiral galaxy located approximately 83 million light-years away in Virgo.

Luminance – 25x600s – 250 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8:9:12x300s – 40:45:60 minutes each – binned 2x2

395 minutes total exposure – 6 hours 35 minutes

Imaged March 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th, 2024 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
