NGC 2320

NGC 2320 (UGC 3659, PGC 20136 and others) is the large elliptical galaxy located approximately 231 million light-years away in Lynx.

NGC 2322 (UGC 3662, PGC 20142 and others) is the spiral below and to the left (east) of NGC 2320.

Luminance – 24x600s – 240 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 10:8:10x300s – 50:40:50 minutes each – binned 2x2

380 minutes total exposure – 6 hours 20 minutes

Imaged February 29th and March 1st and 3rd, 2024 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT at f/8 2432mm.
