Today has been a very exciting day for me. Besides being exactly one month away from the Total Solar Eclipse, today was the first light for the new observatory. It's still not 100% ready for prime-time as I still need to get power to the building. But I couldn't help myself and got the new (to me) mount set up and put the scope on for some solar imaging today. If you want to see what the rig looks like at this point, check out my latest post here. https://www.theskysearchers.com/viewtopic.php?t=30117
