Potential US and Russian satellite collision.

This is breaking news,more updates to follow.
It's not the collision but the debris fallout that is a major issue.

NASA and the Department of Defense are monitoring a potential collision that might occur between NASA's TIMED spacecraft and Russia's Cosmos 2221 satellite

This was the last posting I have seen.
Based on the fact I have not seen any space debris crashing through the clouds, this a good sign, right?

Hopefully both are doing well. The potential destruction of other satellites is quite large.
