vdB 148 (HIP 109200, HD 239856, GN 22.05.5 an others) is the star and reflection nebula at that center of this image. The star is located approximately 4,750 light-years away in Cepheus.
Luminance – 24x600s – 240 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2
360 minutes total exposure – 6 hours
Imaged November 13th and December 2nd and 3rd, 2023 from Dark Sky New Mexico at Rancho Hidalgo (Animas, New Mexico) with a SBIG STF-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT12RCT atf/ 8 2432mm.
