A very interesting nebula from Monoceros, but with a much lower brightness than the neighboring the Rosette nebula.
This time I started with the RGB frames, on 6th February (20x2m each channel), taking advantage of the lack of the Moon, then I continued with OIII (106x5m +36x10m). I decided to keep exposure at 10 minutes/frame - I colected 64 frames for Ha and 32 for SII (these ones were captured last night, the last train before bad weather).
So, I have a total exposure of 32 hours and 50 minutes. Setup: Omegon 203/800, ASI1600MM Pro.
-The stars came out almost colorless (maybe because of the fog). I'll post three images (sorry for that) , one HOO, one SHO and a mixed HOO-SHO.
Outstanding capture! I love the snappy details and all three versions display fabulous colors.
