Favor: Help me think of DSOs related to Valentines please?

#1

Post by EmeraldHillsSkies »

Here's a big favor: Can you help me think of deep-space (deep-sky) objects (which is it: Deep-space or Deep-sky? Wiki says Deep-Sky) related to Valentines Day? Hoping to do an EAA session tonight at 10:30pm ET and would like to center on Valentine's Day-relate objects. The "free square" on the bingo board would be the Heart Nebula, right?

1) Heart Nebula

I'll be live-streaming via YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/@EmeraldHillsSkies, in case you can stop by any time during the two hours from 10:30pm until 12:30am tonight. Thanks for any help you can give to dream up targets. :sprefac:

Here are some.

I think Cassiopeia, Cepheus, and Andromeda would be fitting places...

Well, I keep learning - and I keep hoping for more and more muscle memory. Here was the live stream in which I learned from this list.
