Look what I found in my basement today...

#1

Post by Kilohertz »

I kept these all these years, from the late 70's and into the 80's when I was first into astronomy.

Cool!

Cheers

Neat. I had a similar trove of Astronomy magazine going back to 1979. Of course the most memorable was the issue focused on building your own eight inch Dobsonian from 1980 in John Dobson's heydey.

Also the issue on Berkeley scientists Luis and Walter Alvarez's article that hypothesized the doomsday Yucatan asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs, also in 1979.

Very cool!

I always donated my mags to libraries or left them in doctor's offices for others to enjoy and still do.

But now I wish I hadn't :)
