M42 Dwarf 2 AF by Tony Boutle, on FlickrIn future I would reduce the gain and take more exposures to stop the blow out on the Trapezium. Still not bad - the Dwarf uses its own dark calibration on the PNG stack, but the individual FITS are best processed with manual darks (20 in this case).
Finally, M45 Stacked PNG 8s subs; 80 gain; 120 shots (approx 24 minutes).

M45 Dwarf AF by Tony Boutle, on FlickrSame comment as on the M42 the stars are blown out, so lower gain more exposures in the future, star shapes are a bit iffy on this... Could be down to the positioning of the Seven sisters getting lower in the sky - slight trailing with a 2 sec less exposure. Or the Dwarf could be better with the object directly in front of it in the sky?
