Marshall was an exceptional man. He is somebody we looked up to and he was a constant in his positive attitude and bright outlook. He has now gone to a place to which we are all destined. I hope that when I get there he can tell me what I have to look forward to.

This was very sad to hear. He was someone that made a real impression on me, when I returned to the hobby over 10 years ago on the old Astronomy Forum site.
My condolences to his family and close friends, of which I am sure there are many. I will say a little prayer for them tonight.
I am sure that he is now experiencing the many known and unknown wonders of the universe "in person" so to speak.
