It is going to be a long two weeks...

I hope this two weeks passes swiftly for both Sabin and yourself Gabrielle.

Great song! I saw the Cranberries on telly singing this, Dolores O'Riordan was painted gold! I was that impressed I went out and bought the album.

Cars don't have CD players any more! So I had to burn some CDs onto a flash memory stick to play in the car. I've got about 20 odd albums on a stick that plays single tracks in random order instead of a whole CD at a time. It makes a change!

This came on today, haven't heard it for a while, great song, great memories:

Went to a folk club tonight with my mate Dave. Everyone takes their guitar with them (or fiddle, pipe, concertina or piano accordion (one bloke was playing the spoons)) and they take turns doing a turn. A couple got up and did a fine rendition of Meet me on the Corner:

When living at home, still in high school, among the many items covering my bedroom walls was a poster of Mark Farner on stage. Their "Grand Funk" album was my fave.

Never saw them live.

By the time of this recording FM and Nash The Slash had collaborated on many projects.
This song and album marks the first time in either bands career that they used a guitarist that did not rely on MIDI or outside electronic sound enhancements.

Unfortunately I could not find a better version online as the musical arrangements are quite good.

This would have been during my Junior year of High School. The song did get much FM airplay, but, I don't think I had the album.

One-hit wonders.

@Nakedgun

With 30 top-ten singles on the Dutch charts and 25 studio albums they were hardly one hit wonders.
