This reminds me of Madness and "Our house".
Thanks for sharing, enjoyed that!

Now for something completely different!
I am multilingual due to my parents coming from different heritage and language groups.
This is currently one of my favourite Afrikaans songs, the artist is Wesna and the title "Tuis" translates to "Home".
You might not understand the lyrics but music is still a universal language, hope you enjoy.

Another one of my garage sale finds in the early 80's. A copy of Pink Floyd's debut album from 1967; I was coming up to age two when this was released and pressed. It costed a whole two dollars, and the LP is in perfect shape. It still has the plastic wrap :D

Being an astronomy forum, I thought this would be appropriate:

An amazing album! I remember reading in a interview about how Syd Barrett and Roger Waters would continually write down phrases on bits of paper and then randomly pull them of a hat to write free verse songs.
It seems to have worked for them.

Bought this record from a thrift store used at 11 years old, I made it down the road a ways it seems 😆

Sun's goin' down like a big bald head....disappearing behind the boulevard.....

FINALLY the great big orb has appeared in the sky, blue surrounds it, and tonight there should be those bright twinkly things, can't recall what they are, but I think a telescope may help capture a few images...fingers crossed.

~

Working on a motorcycle in the garage today I put this on, not having listened to it for quite some time.

From 1998, this is the first one of his I heard. It is ambient, which is not for everyone.

This track, in particular, drew me in.

Sabin is out of country for a couple of weeks working.
You can tell how big a person is in your life by the size of the hole they leave while gone.
It is going to be a long two weeks...
