Fountain of youth?

My cells are waiting.
Or maybe it's complicated:

Can't we fix our cells without encouraging cancer? Seems terribly unfair.

Interesting but I for one do not want to live an overly extended time.

Fear not. After all, even if all natural and malevolent causes of death were eliminated, you're mean lifetime due to auto accidents alone would be only a few thousand years or so (roughly). On a geological (not to mention astrophysical) time scale, that's really pretty much just the blink of an eye.
