Help with buying my first manual camera

I've been wanting to buy my first manual camera for some time now.

I've reached a limit where the automatic post-processing and drastic reduction in the functionality of a cell phone camera makes me furious every time I have to photograph something, no matter how simple the composition.
Sorry for the rant.

That said, I'm undecided between two beginner cameras:

- Canon EOS 2000D (Rebel T7)
- Nikon D3500

If I were to directly compare one with the other, the Nikon D3500 has a slight advantage over the Canon.

But since it is my first manual camera, I want it to also allow me to get started in astrophotography in the near future. So my questions are the following:

- Does any of these models have a direct advantage over the other in the area of astrophotography (without removing the IR filter)?

- For which brand can I find accessories most easily (telescope adapters or lenses best suited for AF)? And what is the "cheapest" brand for these same accessories?

My recommendation is always one of the Canon DSLRs with the APS-C sized sensor. Starting with the T3i and going up to the T7i. They're inexpensive and you can't go wrong. The great thing about these models is that they have an articulating screen on the back that makes them very useful.
