Re: A music thread
Fun music Chich! It really has a late 1970s Peter Gabriel feel to it
I could dance at the telescope to that.
A bit of humour to start the day, quite interesting how many people make cameos in the video.

Re: A music thread
It’s from a wonderful album “Occident, Orient” that explores Mediterranean music from Spain to the Middle East, 12th to 16th centuries. It fairly rocks.Lady Fraktor wrote: ↑Fri Aug 05, 2022 4:21 amI really enjoyed this piece nFA!notFritzArgelander wrote: ↑Fri Jul 29, 2022 6:20 am Makam Uzäl Sakil “Turna”

OOPS! I goofed! Sorry… The version I posted wasn’t from that album BUT the album I mistakenly cited also has a different and wonderful cover of the same tune. It’s a great album.

Re: A music thread
Hi all. As they said on the Monty Python TV show; "And now for something completely different". In 1961 B. Bumble & the Stingers recorded Bumble Boogie, which was a modern boogie version of Rimsky-Korsakov's "Flight of the Bumble Bee". And not to be left out, Liberace then performed his version on his 1950's/1960's weekly TV show:
I hope that you get a kick out of this and have a great weekend.

Re: A music thread
@Lady Fraktor I'm saving the link! I have a collaborator from pre retirement who keeps sending links to articles based on work we did together but making new, exaggerated, illogical, and mathematically unjustified claims. I've tried pointing out the flaws but am met with abuse and denial of the valid criticism. This is just the ticket!
