Hi all. It was back in 1962 that my parents took my younger brother and myself on a long vacation along the Mississippi River, starting at Minnesota and then down to the Gulf of Mexico. We have never forgotten this beautiful trip and the fantastic scenery. So I thought that you might enjoy this song, especially Butterfly Maiden (Vanessa) who likes country music and the great outdoors. Up next from 1981, here is Charley Pride with Roll on Mississippi:

A great but completely misunderstood song



By the time they recorded Synchronicity, the band members could not stand each other and had to be in separate rooms to record their parts.
I wonder if that helped with the idea for this song?
