So how many of y'all believe,(or were told by your parents), that you "have your days and nights mixed up"?

.... since there's a lot of night owlery going on with all the stargazing schtuff.
I know I sort of do,(having my days and nights confused), crossed with being a short-sleeper person.
And how do we manage a day job if we are up half the night?

I have had a night job through all of my school so being a short-sleeper has certainly been a boon!


At least it has kept my school indebtedness down by a bunch!

I cannot remember feeling like my days and nights were mixed up though I have had a few days were I have been a bit tired from
being out observing.
Just something to deal with.

Nope, haven't confused days/nights except for when I was a little kid, so that's been a while As for mixing observing at night with a day job, I find it's gotten easier as I get older; since my bladder is probably now the size of a peanut so you know what I'm doing twice a night... And funny, I always peek out the back door to check the sky at those times. No luck with that lately, day or night! I work alone and leave for it when I want, which helps in the day. Even if I'm tired and cranky, there's no one else who has to deal with that!

Since I have retired, I stay up till at least 2AM, along with my wife.
One of my best friends stays up till about 4AM and wakes up about 4PM, he has MS and needs 12 hours sleep.

My Aunt, who passed away a few years ago would stay up till about 3AM watching old movies and Micky Mouse cartoons, she was a fun woman.

This has never happened to me except perhaps in Alaska and Finland with the midnight sun.
