I am still getting used to this telescope, but please let me know what you think of this first photo with it.

There's three parts to a good photo, Framing, Exposure, Focus.
You nailed the framing and exposure, just need to figure out the focus. It's a process and we all start like this.
Scopes: Celestron EdgeHD14", Explore Scientific ED152CF & ED127 APO's, StellarVue SV70T, Classic Orange-Tube C-8, Lunt 80mm Ha double-stack solar scope.
Mounts: Astro-Physics Mach One, iOptron CEM70EC Mount, iOptron ZEQ25 Mount.
Cameras: ZWO ASI2600mm Pro, ZWO 2600MC Pro, ZWO ASI1600mm
Filters: 36mm Chroma LRGB & 3nm Ha, OIII, SII, L-Pro, L-eXtreme
Eyepieces: 27mm TeleVue Panoptic, 4mm TeleVue Radian, Explore Scientific 82° 30mm, 6.7mm , Baader 13mm Hyperion, Explore Scientific 70° 10mm, 15mm, 20mm, Meade 8.8mm UWA
Software: N.I.N.A., SharpCapPro, PixInsight, PhotoShop CC, Phd2, Stellarium

I actually noticed that. I took another picture with a different eyepiece and got this on the second attempt.
This was with a brand new 25mm plossl eyepiece and my phone.i used the editing function on my phone to get this.

Re: New Image: first photo with new telescope 12/25/2023
Mainly because of the thermal instability issues involved in attempting to visually observe or image Sol that we speak of focus so critically, really just means zoom in super close with your cameras settings and rock the focuser very slowly in the area of focus until a window of thermal stability presents itself allowing a more precise focus while also making sure to aclimate the scope even if its a refractor to the ambient outside or interrior observing structure temps.
Never leave a solar scope unattended and always make sure the Solar filter is secured properly before each session...
And last but not least, Best of luck from the StarHugger and Merry Christmas indeed!
