Has anyone come across a 120VAC/12VDC octopus output... that is a power supply with, say, 4 12V output leads? I've found a couple of 120/12V power supplies that can can serve multiple outputs - but they weigh as much as all the individual 120/12V power supplies that run my camera, focuser, etc. As it currently stands I have (I think) 30 pounds of counter weight on my mount. The mount handles it well, but I'd love to reduce some of the weight. I've shortened cable runs, but a pound or two of saved weight would be nice.

You should consider something like the Pegasus Astro PowerBox Micro.

I keep my power supply off the mount. I use a RigRunner for 12v power distribution. A RigRunner is much lighter than a power supply.

I use one of these connected to a 120AH Lithium battery.

It's a multifunctional system that fills three roles. I made it non-permanent so that it can be easily removed from the car:-

1. It's part of the solar power and fridge system in my 4wd

2. If I lose power for many days after a big storm, I can use the solar panel, charge controller,
battery and fridge as temporary arrangement to save my perishable foods. Three years ago,
we lost power for 5 days.

3. I can also use the battery on it's own or with the multi outlet control box to power telescopes.
