Asteriod Leona to occult Betelguese on December 12

This will only be visible from parts of Europe and Asia, Florida and Mexico.

Did anyone see it? My location was a bit too far North but I had a look anyway around 1:17 last night!

It happened last night, but to answer your question, it was only visible from the tip of Florida, below Miami, in the CONUS.
