I snapped Venus with my DSLR at 300mm focal length and 1/200 second exposure. The disc was getting smaller to the point where only one photo was clear enough to see the phase.

Nice one Phil.

Did you see the occultation this morning?

I caught part of the event but had to dodge both weather and work. I am very behind with processing and am currently wading through meteor hunt images from 3rd. I only finished my October summary yesterday. I have learned the hard way that it is best to get out under a clear sky however many images I have in the queue. There''s always plenty of time when I'm clouded out to catch up with processing and blogging.

I did not witness the appearance and reappearance but saw the two objects close together. Unfortunately, all photos except the first were over-exposed.
