Hello everyone,
I'm just getting started in the modern area of
AP and am putting together a system from scratch and am wanting to use what I already have first, if feasible, otherwise, out comes the wallet.
My first project is to figure out if either of my machine vision cameras would be suitable for
AP. Both are C mount which is readily adaptable to pretty much anything. I'm interested in both
DSO and planetary photography.
I'm going to post data sheets for both, I would appreciate hearing from those of you in the know about USB imaging cameras and let me know if either of these would work for
AP. I know they won't be ideal, but to get started and get my feet wet?
Thank you.
The two cameras I have are Oscar 510C and MLE-C030-U.
Explore Scientific ED80 refractor, Sky-Watcher 200P 8" Dobsonian, Meade 856 w/853 mount and lots of eyepieces, Meade 4550 Newtonian, Sky-Watcher NEQ-3 PRO Hot Rodded with bearings and a whole mess of cameras, lenses, accessories, adapters and 2 cats.
