A cheap or free solar finder

Having gone to the total eclipse in 2017 I must have had some sort of solar finder, but of course I can't find it now and have no memory of even what it was. Since we have an annular eclipse coming up next week and the total eclipse next year, I made one from some foam core board and thought those who check this beginners' page might be interested.
