Doing them strictly in order is harder than you'd think at first. Starting from Saturn TX, you probably have to drive through Venus TX a second time if you're going to either Uranus AK, Uranus MI, or Neptune NJ. And Mars PA is on the way between Neptune NJ and Uranus AK.

So even though this trip is ridiculously long, the true believers who refuse to pass through the wrong location out of order, will have several EXTRA detours to consider.

I'm "old school'' so I'd have to add a stop in either Pluto, Mississippi or Pluto, West Virginia.

Reports are emerging that a hospital in Texas has accidentally or unnecessarily amputated limbs from 23 patients last year due to medical mix-ups or negligence. A spokesman from the hospitals legal office has denied the claims, he said the hospital is not concerned because several of the patients are not pointing fingers while the others don't have a leg to stand on.

You might be able to give Uranus AK a miss on the tour and save time: a lot of my students over the years would say you are sitting on it anyway... ;)

Sadly, due to hospital staff errors, a quarter-million U.S. patients are killed every year in this country.

Eclipse jokes

I’m so excited about the upcoming eclipse that I stayed up all night looking for the sun!
* Then it dawned on me…

How does the Man In the Moon cut his hair?
* Eclipse it! 😎

A friend once told me I should view an eclipse thru a colander.
* I tried it, but it strained my eyes ...

To raise money in 2017, I sold some knock-off eclipse glasses. I'm not worried, tho.
* Those suckers will never see me again!

What do you call three totalities in a row?
* An eclipsis (dot ... dot ... dot)

No, but when I was about 9 years old, I didn't know how to use a soup spoon, so I shoved the thing in my mouth the first time I used one.

This one is timely:
