Before I knew I had blood sugar regulation problems I was driving home early from a canceled dinner date without having eaten. I was starting to feel a bit woozy and stopped regulating the speed of my vehicle. Pulled to the side, the officer asked the question "Do you know how fast you were going?" followed by the observation that I didn't look well. (Apparently I was rather pale and perspiring profusely on a cool autumn day.) I responded that I had no idea and was trying to get off the road because I was feeling woozy and thought I needed food. He wrote me a ticket. Told me to plead "not guilty" and followed me to the next exit where I found a diner. He left me in the parking lot.

Court day comes. My case comes up. I tell my story. The officer is there. He confirms it. The judge asks "And you BELIEVE him?" He responds, "Yes, your honor." And the case is dismissed to the chagrin of the judge.
