High CPU usage

Not sure what has changed recently on this site but when my Mac sits idle on a page in the forum the CPU % goes up and causes the fans to turn on.

This was never an issue until recently.

running macOS 13 and Safari.

When on this page to compose this message it was running at 4%

Hi Steve,

We haven’t made any changes in over 6 months, so it’s nothing I’m aware of.

I will do some poking around and see if I can find anything related.

Filters: LRGB, Ha 7nm, O-III 7nm, S-II 7nm
Eyepieces: a few.
Primary software: Cartes du Ciel, N.I.N.A, StarTools V1.4.

Gordon, it might have been just a transient thing.

I will check it again, it is very low on this page as previously noted.
