New video - Milky Way mistakes (yeah, I make those)

Post by MartinF »

Hi!

Here is my latest video. I set out to capture some spectacular timelapse and also images for stacking. Turns out I am a mess when it comes to time management and general execution of my plans :D :violin:
I hope at least some of you can feel that this applies to you as well. Or just enjoy the beautiful morning light I got later on.

Nice video, thanks for sharing. I've had a few attempts at a milky way timelapse and it's not easy. I've knocked it out of focus too so I now focus on infinity during daylight and tape the focus ring up. I've only managed to image it in a bortle 4 location but I think you need better skies for a timelapse, espicially having seen it at bortle 1. Your stacked image is spectacular as are the dawn shots. Very cool and an awesome location. Liked and subscribed.

Thank you! The focusing is not really a problem but this lens has had its share of bumps so it is prone to shift focus from the slightest touch and taping the focus ring wouldn´t help. I think it needs some service :icon-smile:
