Post by regandon »

I had to join after hearing how good this site is. I've been into visual astronomy for just over 40yrs, and an astro-photographer for just about 37yrs. My main interests are globular clusters, open clusters, Jupiter and the moon. My main scope is an ES 152mm refractor for globular clusters and open cluster. I use an ES 152mm Mak-Cass for planetary and lunar photography. I use an ES 102mm and 127mm refractors for public outreach.

Hi Regandon. It's great to have you join us here on TSS and that was a nice introduction from you too. There are very many members on here who use a short focal length wide field refractor for deep space and a Mak-Cass or Schmidt-Cass scope for lunar/planetary work as it makes a nice combination. Welcome to the forum Regandon and the best of wishes on your observing and astro photography adventures.
