Pet names (fun quiz)

We don't have children, but we did name our horses.

My horse is called “Atalanta” (I love butterflies, so the name was chosen
from the Red Admiral Butterfly - (scientific name 'Vanessa Atalanta'). Quite appropriate I think.

Sophia's horse is called “Athena” (Greek Goddess of Wisdom). She is one smart lady, so this is definitely a favourite character for her

Naming a pet after a character you love? What about a character you, uh, don't? We had a white rat that we named after a person who was frequently in the news.
(Don't bother to guess. He hasn't been in the news for over three decades and if you're under 45 you've never heard of him....)

Not after a character or a person I love, but a historical figure: Arthur Wellesley, the 1st Duke of Wellington.

Sagan is on the left. Hopefully, I don't need to tell anyone in this group who he's named after.
I can't leave Titan out on the right, named after Saturn's largest moon of course.
And the real baby, my circa 1979 mint orange-tube C8.
