Hi, I've got the Baader version of this, actually two of them; the 10nm and the new 7.5nm. I would have to agree, I've used them both visually on an f/ 11.4 80mm with the Baader 5.0 solar film and with the exception of the green, I don't really see a difference.
However, for stacking photos with aDSLR and the same scope, it does bring out more detail as opposed to not using one.
Filters are great, but my eyes are not young and as sensitive as a camera...

Ca-K - W/O 61mm, Antares 1.6 barlow, Baader 3.8 OD and Ca-K filters with a ZWO ASI174mm.
W/L - C80-HD with Baader 5.0 & 3.8 Solar film, Solar Continuum 7.5nm and UV/IR filters with a Canon EOS 550D.
