penumbral lunar eclipse
i think this one is a little under the radar, haven't seen much news
you can fast forward in stellarium and it seems almost non existent in the eclipse animation, i might setup the 12'' and capture a mono image to see if there is a little bit of a shadow , eta is about 4hr:35 mins from this post

Re: penumbral lunar eclipse
Let us know how it turns out. The last time I tried to get a picture of penumbral lunar eclipse I thought I could see the shadow visually, but couldn't see anything in my image.

Re: penumbral lunar eclipse
finaly got some spare time to upload, i only had the shorter fl refractor out, used a 2x barlow, bit of fringing on the edge, single frame from sony dslr , you can see the right side is a little darker, hard to see the shadow ring edge though.
