It is my first time in S & T. I have previously had images published in the now-defunct Sky News, and in the fourth edition of the Backyard Astronomer's Guide, by Alan Dyer and Terence Dickinson.

Hi Kathy. Congratulations on having your NGC 5634 image published in Sky & Telescope magazine. I just caught it this afternoon on the lower right hand corner of the page. You did well with having your nice globular cluster image worthy of being printed Kathy and the best of regards.

Thanks for the compliment.

I posted it here last year when it was new, so it has had one chance to try for APOD already. I don't remember if it won, but I don't think it should have a second chance when there are lots of deserving images.

Hi Kathy. Congratulations again on having your NGC 5634 globular cluster image published in Sky & Telescope magazine and now congratulations on receiving the TSS APOD Award today. Below is an interesting small portion from the article text about NGC 5634 and what you can expect to see at different powers as well as the probable origin of this deep globular cluster:

Thanks, Gordon. I wasn't expecting this image to be treated like a regular astrophoto, since it has already had one kick at the can. However, since it might get more visibility, here is a link to the original post, including the techie information: https://theskysearchers.com/viewtopic.p ... 14#p201414
