Yeah... Unfortunately, when you design to Stick a Blind Landing on a Foreign Planet, there are "Parts and Bits"...
It's not like they could be made "Bio-degradable"...
But, there will surely be a contract issued sometime in the distant future for Site Cleanup - just as soon as the M.E.P.A . legislation is passed...

Hi Frank. Wow, this is an amazing series of the Mars rovers and helicopter adventures. This is a great exploration tactic, where the helicopter scans the Martian surface from above and selects a good research target and then the rovers moves in and do the excavation/sampling work. This is fantastic technology and I love the sharp images of the Mars surface images as well as the rovers "selfie" pictures showing the complex mechanisms being used. Thanks for finding and sharing these interesting and informative links with us Frank and keep up the great work.
