New Image: NGC4565 Needle Galaxy

This is NGC4565 captured over two nights with the EdgeHD11 and QHY268C. I managed a total of 8hrs with 240 x 120sec subs. Processed using APP, PI and Photoshop.

That's a fantastic image of one of my favourite galaxies. You have lovely colour in the outer arms and nice detail in the dust. And little IC3465 and IC3543 are nicely defined as the "support act".

Super nice close up view of this beautiful target!
Excellent details and the color is spot on.
Man, that Edge is a fine imaging instrument! You certainly are making it work on these smaller galaxies.
On the other side of the coin, I swapped my "big" scope (102mm) into action recently. Had some unusual issues, and swapped the wide field Sharpstar 61 back in service. I guess that I am lazy, but working with a nice small refractor is just so simple!
