New Image: PuWe 1

PuWe 1 (PK 158+17 1, PN G158.9+17.8 and others) is a large planetary nebula located approximately 1,287 light-years away in Lynx.

Ha – 24x1800s – 720 minutes – binned 1x1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2x2

840 minutes total exposure – 14 hours

Imaged from Dardenne Prairie, Missouri (a red zone) on February 10th, 22nd and 23rd and from the Danville Conservation Area (New Florence, Missouri) March 14, 2023 with a SBIG ST-8300M on an Astro-Tech AT90DT at f/6.7 603mm.

As said a very feint one , i saw a version on AB with 100 hours integration and still not perfect so you have done well with 14 hours.

Hi Dan. You did a nice job with your image of PuWe 1 in HaRGB light. Well framed and the planetary nebula, though faint, is quite visible in your capture. Thanks for sharing the view with us Dan and the best of wishes for many clear skies.
