Anyone doing anything astronomy related lately? Its too quiet.
I haven't been in the mood to do much observing lately either. Too much clouds and right now its nearly full moon too.
its far too hazy where I'm at most of the year.

Clouds and rain here. No observing since December. Hoping for dryer spring.

I just went for a hike before the next "river in the sky" hits tomorrow. We had great weather, meaning lots of rain and clouds so we're out of the drought for a split second.

The pollen is too much for me at the moment.
But at least the rains have stopped :)

the last time i saw the sky, the dinosaurs were still on earth and i'm not talking about politicians lol.
since the weather is gloomy. I decided to buy equipment, an apm solar wedge, a televue nebustar filter and a new ts125mm telescope.
fanally it may be my fault if the gloomy weather continues.

That TS125 could possibly bring you up to 125 days of clouds ☁️☁️☁️ :o

Nothing but clouds around here. And when it's been clear the winds have been howling. My last clear night to image was February 10th! Hoping for a clear night, Sunday. At least that's what the forecast looks like.
If so, that will give me 3 hours of dark skies before the waning moon rises and then I'll switch over to narrowband. Haven't decided on a target yet.
I'm planning on trying for Centaurus A and Omega Centauri again this year, pretty difficult target for me from +36° latitude but I've done it before with fair results. Unfortunately, they do not get high enough until around midnight so I'll have to wait till another clear night for that project.

Other than dusting off telescope and eyepiece cases, nothing since beginning of the month.

I've had a few clear nights / mornings, but not many. Hoping for a better spring and summer.

My last observation was from March 01 with my new grabngo refractor. Faul weather since.
Does the fine for a newly purchased instrument come afterwards?

I think we are all suffering the same fate of bad weather conditions, regardless of location.

Typically, the UK weather is cloudy and showery at the moment, so it is pot luck for getting a decent viewing session completed :confusion-shrug:

Yup, yeah clouds and other than that full moons. I still await my Dwarf II, typical of a start up company they found their shipper could not deal wth 4,000 orders. The new shipper should be shipping by the middle of March. Not a complaint on my side, but having a new toy would give me a distration from the weather...

Bad weather here since Jan 29th - my last session with a bit of outreach. No real let up in the forecast going up to March 18th. Hence, we are shut out as a group and not much reporting.

Before, after, indefinitely! Heck, your children may even inherit it!

Yeah, my nights here have been few and far between. I caught the full Moon on wednesday, and had two days of decent solar this week. That's been it for about a month.
I have a few items I bought late last year and still have yet to try. I've obviously incurred the wrath of the cloud gods... :(

hoping for better soon,

I keep looking at the forecast here in the UK and it's not good. I then looked further afield and it's not much different in Europe and the other side of the pond. Oh joy!
I've just got all my gear sorted, or so I thought, then my main imaging cam which is out of warranty has decided it's had enough so it's game over for a while :x
Think I'll take up cloud spotting and time lapse cloud vids

Clear skies
Pete
